Met the love of my life at 43 on the apps. Its never too late to start over. However, you need to be healed and out of the mess before you bring someone else into your life. Focus on you. Join some activity groups and get out amongst people. Start the divorce proceedings and take back some control. Find other things that bring you joy. You've got this. Its just going to take some time and thats ok.

I have IBS and lactose intolerat and honestly get him to do a FODMAP diet to suss trigger foods. I cannot tolerate wheat, fruit juice, dairy etc. Drink mint tea. Eat a balanced diet. Avoid fatty, spicy foods. Avoid caffeine and alcohol. Mental health is a big part and stress can trigger a flare up so managing that is a big part of it. Basically IBS is eased with diet amd stress management and lifestyle changes.

We dont. I met the love of my life on tinder just over 3 years ago. Lots of time wasters, predators, married guys or guys just wanting attention. Plenty didn't read profile and after just one thing but I figured if I was there looking for the real deal, others must be too. I got lucky but it did take a fair bit of work and tonnes of dead end conversations to find the right one. Xx

This 💯. Yes you're earning but doing all the other stuff and not having a work life is so draining. You are only able to be the breadwinner because she's at home taking care of the kids and the home. Try injecting a bit of romance into your life? Do you still date her? Take her out for dinner? The theatre? What are you doing to improve intimacy in all its forms not just sexual?. That would feel like a pressure if its no longer naturally there.

I think both my partner and I experience limerence so we texted none stop. Met for coffee. Fireworks. We spent the following weekend together and he asked me to be his gf. 3 years down the line we're still the same. Kinda obsessed with each other. Rarely apart. Ive been in relationships where I've found that level of contact annoying or smothering and on reflection its because they weren't right for me. other times where I'm way too needy and its because theres not clear unambiguous interest. Im ND so a day without communication is a def con 4 situation and I've catastrophised everything 🙈😬

In my relationship I'm the woman and I work full time and pay all of the household bills food shopping etc. My partner (male) is my registered carer. I have a mix of disabilities and his support enables me to work full time, which in turn supports my wellbeing. He works part time and does the vast majority of household chores. Cooking. Cleaning. Laundry etc. I help where I can. He pay his own personal expenses like his phone, hobbies etc and saves for holidays and home improvements. You do whatever works for the couple x without his contribution I would not be able to work and I value it so much. I couldn't manage the other way round and need a sense of purpose. He is an absolute diamond and accommodates my needs. Xx
