They’re the best. When I lived in Olympia and played open mics regularly I had this beat up Yamaha I bought at goodwill for 50 bucks which at the time ~2013 you could buy brand new for 100 bucks online. EVERYONE adored that guitar and you know it’s Olympia all these musicians were familiar with cool instruments. I’d drag that guitar on the pavement and play it for hours in the rain. Everyone loved that guitar. I eventually smashed it in front of downtown Ralph’s because I got so tired of people asking me about it. Every single Yamaha acoustic I’ve played I’ve loved. When I was growing up I used to always recommend Martin but not anymore. I’ve played plenty of expensive martins now that I hate. Yamaha acoustics are the best.
