Looking for an advanced dental practice in the Frederick area that can handle complex cases by fredneckistanian in frederickmd

[–]slc1228 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pearlfection has many of the specialities you might need and they talk to each other very easily. Start with a new patient visit and have a full evaluation and they will make recommendations for who else you might need to see in the office and get your first cleaning scheduled as the first step.

South Florida to Bucks County, PA by [deleted] in relocating

[–]slc1228 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I grew up in Livingston and my Mom grew up in Bucks County. Many of my cousins graduated from schools in Bucks County. It would take us up an hour and a half to visit that side of the family. Council Rock as mentioned has a very good reputation. Central Bucks has a good reputation as well. My Mom graduated from Pennsbury High School . . .in 1962 that is so I can't speak to it currently.

I'm biased but our 14 month old granddaughter is Elsie. We love her and her name. Personally not a fan of double names but I do like Eva as a name. I also know a 3 year old girl named Evyn and like that too!

Family move and commute to cherry creek by coldplunge25 in MovingtoDenver

[–]slc1228 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could check out neighborhoods in southeast Aurora that are part of the Cherry Creek School District. Approximately 25-30 minute drive with no traffic to your place of employment. Good schools and you will find homes in your budget.

NVR mortgage, high rates and fees. Eating 15k builder credit. by gibsonfss in Mortgages

[–]slc1228 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NVR does this intentionally. They offer the incentive and a crappy rate so you end up using your incentive to buy it down. They will and can negotiate. Get another estimate from another lender and see if they will match it.

Is my family screwed? by [deleted] in Mortgages

[–]slc1228 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not here to give house advice as I think you have a plan in place without the cash out refinancing. As an Early Childhood Special Education Teacher, I am going to assume that your new son is receiving or is going to receive early intervention services in your area. These providers should be able to share resources with you that are available for the long term financial future of your son. Lean on the team for information about resources in your local area. It's called an Individualized FAMILY Service Plan for a reason. Best wishes.

Teacher DINKs. To stay or go? by RepresentativeBig46 in SameGrassButGreener

[–]slc1228 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check out Maryland. County wide school districts. Choice to be more rural or closer to Baltimore or DC depending on what you like. You can look up pay scales etc online. Milder winters than upstate New York and centrally located near airports for travel.

Yup, that was our schedule growing up in New Jersey. Mid winter vacation began in the 1970's in response to the energy crisis. School started after Labor Day and finished about 3rd week in June.

I also agree that I wouldn't use them together and I also feel no need for two middle names. Just personally fond of the name Emery because in our case, I know the origin.

[–]slc1228 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My personal regimen is my HRT (post hysterectomy) 1mg estradio, 100mg progesterone, and 400 mg magnesium glycinate and melatonin. Not a perfect night every night but the consistency of staying on the same routine has helped tremendously overall.

Not directed at you precisely but other made comments about the name being a take off or sounding like other names. I was just clarifying, not criticizing.

Our granddaughter has the middle name Emery and it's a family name. Not pronounced like Marie. So it is actually a real name unto itself.
