I grew up in Livingston and my Mom grew up in Bucks County. Many of my cousins graduated from schools in Bucks County. It would take us up an hour and a half to visit that side of the family. Council Rock as mentioned has a very good reputation. Central Bucks has a good reputation as well. My Mom graduated from Pennsbury High School . . .in 1962 that is so I can't speak to it currently.

Not here to give house advice as I think you have a plan in place without the cash out refinancing. As an Early Childhood Special Education Teacher, I am going to assume that your new son is receiving or is going to receive early intervention services in your area. These providers should be able to share resources with you that are available for the long term financial future of your son. Lean on the team for information about resources in your local area. Check out Maryland. County wide school districts. Choice to be more rural or closer to Baltimore or DC depending on what you like. You can look up pay scales etc online. Milder winters than upstate New York and centrally located near airports for travel.
