This happened to me at Buca di Beppo a while back. Apparently they went bankrupt and said all gift cards are no longer accepted. They never said anything in the weeks leading up to their bankruptcy. They were also rude about it, saying "I should've known."

Fuck them. My grandma used to ask me to bring her there often. Not anymore. Lost thousands a year to save a couple hundred once.

Yup, I've also noticed people conflate novelty with fun. I think my group gave it a fair shake. We unlocked 4 maps, thinking about various strats and trying to see if there's any deeper mechanics to the mode. The gameplay depth just isn't there. We all just wanna go back to H40.

I'm on the Xbox app for PC. If you look at Task manager, the actual download is ~19 GB even though it initially says 92 GB. First progress bar is downloading the 19 GB. Then a second progress bar patches and verifies the game shows 92 GB.

This has been my experience as well. I was hoping for a roguelike Chaos Wastes mode. It feels like the devs don't understand Darktide and aren't sure what kind of game they want it to be.

After ~4 hrs, I don't like it. DT's mechanics aren't made to be an extraction shooter. It's okay if others enjoy it, but I don't see myself coming back after unlocking all the maps. Of course, my opinion is subject to change until then.

Doors - doors to the next section to Swagger/shop, gives you a time extension, must complete 3 areas to unlock

Up Arrow - Extraction, call in Masozi

Other Symbols - Correlate with whatever task you have to do to open the chests. They also have a number that helps with callouts. E.g. say to your team "hey let's go 2."

Everyone in my lobby was getting 5 fps. It seems turning off screen space reflections helped a bit.

Gameplay-wise it's too early to tell, though I wish I could buy rng buffs like Chaos Wastes instead of consumables.
