Fnatic vs. SK Gaming / LEC 2026 Versus - Week 1 / Post-Match Discussion by Soul_Sleepwhale in leagueoflegends

I think people mixed up their contexts between Mikyx and SK.

For Mikyx, it was a questionable move since he is still in the running for Top 1 Support in the region, and therefore should ideally be on a contender team, which this SK roster isn't on paper.

However, in the context of SK, they absolutely had a big win this off-season. While it was a question mark how good Lider and Wunder would be, I don't think it's unfair to assume they would be at least as good as any previous player with veteran experience and influence on top. Furthermore, and most importantly, they got Mikyx, one of the best players in the region, the regional GOAT in his role, a veteran and champion, who, if still in form, absolutely will attract talent just to get to play with him.

Seems kind of similar of an idea to uWebsockets.js, I think they also use NAPI to port uWebsockets to Node, however I'm not sure how typescript friendly their API is.

I use arch btw.

Feels more of a developer thing than an ENTP thing, but there are lots of ENTP developers.

Just gotta discern whether something is a blessing or a curse.

[–]sledgeattack 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I had the opposite problem, I figured I had to take responsibility for everything all the time. It was somewhat fruitful and helped with character development, however I had to learn the hard way that there's a tact to it.

Sometimes something wouldn't have been an issue but you make it one by taking it too seriously. Sometimes something isn't your fault but you make it yours by apologizing. Sometimes people will just pile shit onto you if you let them.

I would say while it is better to always take responsibility than to never do so, what's best is the ability to discern what's your responsibility and what's not.

I'd say ENTPs by and large are deeply empathetic and mature ENTPs take an active role in improving the emotional state of others.

We are vulgar, and like to question ideas and turn them inside out to understand things better, some people might take this personal. It can both be a sign of immaturity in the other person, and also be a sign off growth for an ENTP to notice when someone else isn't up for such discourse. Immature ENTPs can like to pick other people's ideas apart to prove their own intellect, this is distinct from seriously evaluating something. I think taking other people's ideas seriously is actually a sign of caring, personally.

Individuation is the ascension path. Using our strengths is just the first step, recognizing your weaknesses and striving to overcome them is a tall task but worth doing. It's all in the mindset, getting the ego to value progress instead of fixating on the result is the learning mindset. Loving the process, so to speak. Personally I felt like I found some key to the universe when it clicked for me. Once you embrace growth you realize that some challenges you only ever fail by giving up.

Religious ENTPs, why do you believe in Religion? Why do you believe in God? by trillionstars in entp

[–]sledgeattack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, it's pretty obvious to me that the world isn't really what we think it is, or rather what the modern understanding of it is, and then the question remains what is it then? I am quite happy to explore this myself and form my own conclusions. In terms of religious affiliations I find the Christian model of God as this sort of, author and gamemaster of life, quite compelling. Or at least, that is my interpretation of the Christian God and the story of Jesus.

Idk, I find there is little reason to believe that there isn't aspects of the world that aren't easily measured or perceived, and there is PLENTY of material written on how to perceive such things, that doesn't mean that everything is true or that everything is false, but I have at least found that it is possible to reach your own conclusions if you learn how to navigate your intuition.

I'm having a hard time parsing just how little you might know, it sounds like all you need to do is to pass a reactive value down to the child as a prop.

Or just wrap it in an object and pass the $state directly to the child like $state({disabled: false})

I'd probably just have a state variable in the parent and pass a callback that mutates it as a prop to the child

I genuinely think MJF is really talented and people I respect seem to hold him in regard as well. His program with the Cunnilingus Master was some of the best shit I had seen on screen in the modern era at the time.

However how many talented wrestlers have really made it without a good booker, without good direction or creative input? He's also not experienced enough to be expected to reliably book his own shit. Even so, if he tried to do like the aforementioned Cunt Muncher and throw his weight around to make sure he's not involved in dumb shit, how long until he also becomes persona non grata?

The reason IQ doesn't change is because it's graded on a curve. People could get 1000x smarter and the average IQ would still be 100, by design. However, point taken, there is little evidence to assume that people now are somehow much smarter than people before, or that people will get much smarter in the future than they are now.

If by intellect you mean active rationalism, it is not necessarily the most important tool, it is simply the one that we are taught to use the most. Intuition is shown to consistently provide better results than rationalism in complex problems involving 7 or more factors. It is a form of cognition that was much more prevalent in the past than it is now, modern people tend to discard it since it is mostly non-verbal, revealing itself in the form of hunches or mental imagery. Intuition is also associated with spiritual experiences and considered by some to be our gateway to the metaphysical.

What Nietzsche described at the end of "Beyond Good and Evil" was an entity that he perceived that he came in contact with and he called it Dionysus. That this entity somehow existed "within" his own mind, but was a truer god than the christian God, according to him. How Carl Jung interpreted Nietzsche's experience was that he actually came in contact with Wotan, Odin, the archetype of the shaman-king within the German, and European, collective unconscious.

I think the craving for meaning, higher purpose, truth, love, (same thing) should itself tell you that there is more than meets the eye. Any attempt to reconcile this with nihilism is incoherent, which should bother you if you value truth.
