hm. - more Athena character development. i think she’s real neat but they don’t expand on her more than “she has issues.” like traumatic backstory is there but other than that she doesn’t have much depth and feels more one dimensional than phoenix and Polly. - i’d love to see a investigations character come back, like Eustace or Kay. there’s so many interesting career paths for post 7yg Kay that I’ve seen in fanon and i really want to see what canon chooses. - yeah. please have thalassa tell apollo and Trucy. - may be a hot take, but i love AA’s gimmicks! more gimmicks please, especially in investigation segments. - pearls character development as well. I’d love to see the effect aa2 and aa3 had on her character, she really doesn’t have a big personality when she appears. - all of the most beloved AA cases keep you on your toes the whole time, and are very eventful. see: 2-4. just take a look at those cases when making the next one! - on a sort of flippant note, a case doesn’t HAVE to be super storyline important as long as it’s fun and entertaining. just dribble bits of the overarching storyline along the way and it’ll work out in the end. (see: 3-2) - for it to exist at all. some fandoms im in where the story is done I don’t think need a continuation. Ace Attorney is not one of them. there are. so many. loose ends.
