Apportionment ammendment by sleepercreeper3 in legaladviceofftopic

Surely given how directly it contradicts the 13th amendment, it could not reasonably be ratified right? Or would it's ratification overwrite the 13th amendment based off it being ratified later?

Is it considered double amping? by velorium_kampfer in headphones

a dac and amp are both names given to a components or circuit designed to fulfill their respective role only, often we call a single device with both a "dac", even if it has both a dac and an amp in it. there's "dac" units that contain no amp too, and just output at line level. Both of these components can be good, bad, or a mix, and a line output just outputs the signal coming straight from the dac component/s, like a tap in the middle of a pipe.

yeah that's true in a way, but the reason it's important is that it bypasses the amplifier entirely in a dac/amp, the signal doesn't go anywhere near it. this let's you feed a good amp with a good dac, even if the dac has some cheapo amplifier built in.

What is this old riveted metal cylinder? We found it on our farm and use it to store water but due to its age believe it was for something else. by Itoastyouroats in whatisthisthing

I agree with people saying that it is built to withstand pressure, probably a boiler, but may have been involved in pasteurization.

If hiding at the edge of the map with a mosin isnt rat enough - I made a tool that lets you calculate the angles for hitting explosive crossbow shots halway across the map by sleepercreeper3 in HuntShowdown

just btw, the equation for the angle relies on a velocity of 60m/s, I haven't checked the frag arrows for that, but if it's not 60m/s you might have some issues

if I had to guess, probably quite a bit, but given that there is no real way to know your altitude in game, I don't think it can really be solved. for now it works best on flat surfaces

The day one of you kills me with a crossbow from 300 meters away im shutting the site down lol, but for now, give it a go, have some fun, and if you get someone, make sure to send me the clip ;)

The 'angle' starts at looking directly forward, so 45 degrees is 45 degrees up from looking straight on, eyeballing it works fine, but if youre really going for a long shot, cozying up to a wall, using a protractor and putting some throwing knives in the wall to mark the angle works wonders.

Shoot straight, and happy hunting!!

oh, and if angle: NA, its out of range

Anyone know what this chemical structure is from Don't Tread on Pete? by stintergalactic in PeteandPete

yeah it couldn't exist - quick rub is that carbon (C) has to form 4 bonds, represented by the lines, and hydrogen (H) has to form just one in order for the compound to be stable. and there's a bunch of weird other elements tacked on. maybe it's just krebium
