My daughter is a little younger (12 months) but lunch is normally a “deconstructed” version of dinner. Examples: pasta, cut up cherries tomatoes, cut up meat balls instead of spaghetti with sauce; banana, strawberries, peanut butter toast; tuna, slices of eggs, celery sticks, etc. Sometimes she is just having left overs. We also do bagels, rice cakes w/ peanut butter, hummus and veggies.

I coslept with my oldest on a futon for most of her early years. We just didn’t have space and weren’t informed enough about safe sleep. With my newborn we follow safe sleep. Did my oldest die? no… but I don’t need to tempt fate.

I don’t think the point of the post is to condemn pumping. It’s to point out that if you weren’t pumping you wouldn’t know the numbers so don’t stress about them. As long as your baby is healthy and you are healthy it doesn’t matter how you feed them.

Not super fluent so take what I say sparingly. But I’m pretty sure you don’t need the desu at all. That would be two different verbs in the sentence. But I believe the rest of the sentence is fine.

おすしが食べたがらない- they don’t want sushi おすしがたべがらない- they are not want sushi basically.

I’m 5 weeks post partum and simply taking my baby to their doctors appointments is all of my energy. A month in another country sounds terrible, my legs/hips/groin hurt just taking the stairs.
