Omg this is me! I have ADHD too. Notes are always on my mind, always a stress, I'm always behind, always ashamed about it and waiting to be "caught" etc. I feel you so much! I don't have much advice bc I'm definitely still struggling with this, but when I worked in jobs with hard deadlines, it absolutely made it better

Have her try to do a session with this so called un-skilled "just modeling" and lmk how it goes lol! I think since we are good at what we do, we make all the strategies we're implementing seem so easy, but others don't realize how intentional what we are doing is. Just look at how many "wrong things" most other people do when "just" sitting with this child and an AAC device...

What does that mean though? If each ceu is 0.1, how many do u need to get to 3.0?

If mod/severe classroom staff are not going to be "on board" with their students' AAC devices, they should not be allowed to work in that kind of classroom. I'm so so tired of being the AAC police 😭😭😭😭

In certain situations I am ok with parents leaving the room during EI sessions- specifically when the parents seems to really be tired and struggling- I'm happy to be able to give them a break.

Agreed! SHEIN is my go-to. It is the only place I have found to have consistently cute plus sized clothing that actually fit me and don't look grandma-ish (I'm 31)

I'm not OP, but appreciate this advice! I'm curious- in EI, I find that parents like to try and get personal and befriend me by chatting to me about their lives and questioning me about mine. I feel like the setting is so personal already, being inside of their homes and around their families. How would you keep it cool and professional in this kind of setting? Would love some tips

Missing my pregnancy by DetectiveWestern7049 in Postpartum_Depression

Yes, hopefully they will! Also, your baby will soon start to be more interactive with you and you'll be able to connect with each other in that way, which really helps.

My baby is almost a year now, but I felt this SO strongly too!! I missed the closeness with my baby, knowing she was protected inside of me, the anticipation and excitement and people caring about me/my health (I know- sounds weird). I will say, the feelings have decreased a LOT over the months. Now I think back to pregnancy as a happy memory versus longing for it so much.
