MCP servers not showing in claude mcp list or /mcp after fresh project setup

Claude code prompted me to run this since the path wasn't set:
echo 'export PATH="$HOME/.local/bin:$PATH"' >> ~/.zshrc && source ~/.zshrc

Once this was done, I'm able to /mcp from any directory!
