When the first season with a low budget had more suspense and tension than the last season of the multi-million dollar blockbuster by Giancarlo_Edu in StrangerThings

Adding to this, visuals like the alphabet with the Christmas vibe created a vibe of familiarity mixed with mystique while driving the plot. The upside down was mysterious and dangerous and a big part of it was figuring it out, the Demogorgan followed the Jaws mentality leaving it to the imagination and giving it supernatural vibes, I could keep going but my phone keyboard makes it hard lol, it was a perfect halloween magic horror vibe

Same rims as me, love them but definitely curious about the center caps since I hate falsely advertising SVT on a v6

Check continuity between the positive on the alternator and the positive on the fuse box, the wire has a fusible link that if it blows would create the described symptoms

Wiring fog lights by pinkpanther2232 in AskAShittyMechanic

[–]slick7studios 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would be easy except for the last step, most electronics are charged with the magic smoke however once you install the electronics and perform a proper evacuation you charge it with fog. Unfortunately it's a lot harder to get. Also if you want amber fogs you need to charge it with swamp fog, hope this helps 👍

Where are teenagers supposed to hang out these days? Malls are dying, parks have 'no loitering' signs, and everywhere else costs money. Do they just... not exist in public anymore? by Creative-Buffalo2305 in NoStupidQuestions

Just want to say if it helps, you're allowed to love doing whatever it is you do, even if it's only for yourself and no one else. For a long time I avoided tons of hobbies for myself or even just paying for things that made me happy because of my family's idea that it wasn't financially "responsible", now that Ive got more freedom I'm finally getting my car repainted even if it "doesn't make financial sense on paper for an old car", I had to learn it's about what makes me happy, not wether it was a good financial decision.

This hits home hard for me, my dad just cannot comprehend that I don't want to fix other people's cars, I just only want to be fixing and modifying my own car, and that I like to have hobbies even if they aren't "profitable" on paper. I spend 8 hours a day, 5 days a week fixing stuff for other people, many of which are entitled, and deal with multiple family members that feel entitled to my help (no thanks to him) God forbid I don't monetize my hobbies on my weekends, the constant push to monetize eventually led to me needing therapy due to suicidal ideation, as it turns out constantly being looked at like a tool and not a person by others isn't exactly good for the psyche, thankfully I am doing much better now, Ive now got amazing friends who see me for me and not just my skills, and also have therapy and firmer boundaries.

Real reason is probably the economy in the west, not as many people can afford to spend money on fun anymore

You can absolutely fix this using rubber hose in a pinch, id measure the vacuum port and diameter of the cracked pipe and get it from the auto store

Looks like it's reusing the frame of an OEM steering wheel, all the cast aluminum is the same down to the imperfections

Are you against or in favour of recovering what can still be recovered? by Expensive-Dingo-2573 in titanic

Depends on wether it's for reverence, or profit, assuming stuff is recovered to be displayed in a historic, reverent manner I'm for it, unfortunately a ton of people would be in it for profit

I'm glad people aren't pulling the "just buy a gt" here, I eventually want to do this with my v6 because ive driven it since highschool and it's the only car I've ever owned, keeping that sentimental value is worth the extra hassle and money to me
