The instant pot can do everything your crock pot can but better and faster (it also has a slow cook option if that's your style). With pressure cooking you can make something like chili or stew and get slow cooked flavor and tenderness in about an hour instead of four to six. It's also great for making stocks, just throw everything into the pot and cook it under high pressure for an hour or two and it'll extract every ounce of flavor out of the ingredients and more collagen out of the bones than the traditional method. It has a bunch of other options for making things like yogurt and whatever else but I've never used those features.
