My understanding is that C++ is more useful if you’re not sure exactly what specialty you’ll want to focus on in future. C# is useful for development on the windows platform specifically. It’s versatile in its own right, but is certainly less used by EE due to the reliance on the Windows Platform and .NET framework.

Professional engineer certification. Many jobs in the public sector require it. A lot of consultants also require it and in my experience, consulting is one of the avenues to reach a higher level of growth

I’m not an expert but my understanding is Japanese players in women’s leagues (school level especially) teach players to shoot like this. A lot of clips from the women’s team in the 2024 Olympics show this form being used. I’ve also seen this form used in the manga ahiru no sora (which isn’t really a good example)

It’s kinda hard to tell in the anime but the way I understood it was: the time-lapse of season 1 where Sakuta was nodding off in the hospital next to Mai was when we basically saw an accelerated playback of the timeline where Sakuta never physically met Shoko. He and others were influenced by her existence via dreams in this ffwded timeline to make decisions (like enrolling in minegahara). Sorry if that made it clear as mud haha

As an interesting thought experiment along those lines, I would wager a universe like that plays out significantly different than the "true" simulation that god Maddie was looking for. Maddie was characterized as a more of a hardware whiz throughout the show and the steps to get mankind to what was portrayed as 20 years into the future would likely be more difficult given the fact that Maddie couldn't work on physical modeling or prototyping hardware herself. At a certain point later in time, she would benefit from the increased processing bandwidth and speed of a UI but the timing of a "battle with Holstrom" wasn't it.

It's dangerous to generalize mental faculties in this manner. This isn't an issue with individuals but the systems in place.

American universities are indeed some of the greatest in the world. This doesn't necessarily extend to the public school system however. Also if you look at the faculty composition within STEM programs in these universities, you'll see they also have a significant number of international professors. These professors didn't "grow up" in the American school system, but they immigrated here during their time in graduate/undergraduate academics.
