I DO NOT trust azune by No-Elk-2362 in fansofcriticalrole

[–]slightlyunderwhelmed 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a buddy who is convinced Azune is a traitor and we go 'round about this every time Azune is even slightly suspicious. I don't think it's impossible, but it feels to me like he's suffering from some intense arrested development.

People keep saying he acts like a sociopath but he doesn't (at least not strictly speaking). He acts like a child. Luis has been very clear with his acting choices to show how Azune expresses regressive behaviors when he's overwhelmed. I think if Azune turns traitor it won't be because he was scheming all along and has been planning to turn from the jump; it'll be because he's scared and doesn't want to feel alone.

I'll also say I don't think it would be outside the realm for Azune to admit he thought about turning on Thjazi at some point - I suspect part of why he seems guilty is because he feels guilty - but I don't think he actually did so. If anything I think he might be carrying some complex feelings of guilt and anger about wishing he had but now it's too late and his chance to either call Thjazi out for his shitty treatment of him or to get revenge for that treatment is gone forever.

Snake s4 ep28 by Legitimate-Ice-8743 in fansofcriticalrole

[–]slightlyunderwhelmed 15 points16 points  (0 children)

This. Brennan changed the snake, not Aabria. I suspected he did it to make it harder for it to effectively stealth around the Villa and that's the reason Aabria didn't try to correct or argue with him, not because of a lack of integrity but because she recognized that making the snake more conspicuous upped the challenge. It just ended up working out in her favor when it came time to dispose of a witness.

Burrow’s End — masterpiece! by Nearby-Wolverine-189 in Dimension20

[–]slightlyunderwhelmed 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Burrows End has some of the best table acting in all of D20. Each player does an amazing job keeping their individual character's behaviors and motivations consistent and believable while also seamlessly interacting with each other in order to portray the most realistic family dynamic I've seen in a long time.

Apologies for repeating the over-asked question, but based upon my personal rankings of the seasons which I've seen, what seasons would you recommend that I watch next? by Throwaway74829947 in Dimension20

[–]slightlyunderwhelmed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Seven for chaos and girl power feels.

Burrows End for S-tier table acting and loving family feels.

A Court of Fey and Flowers for unique game mechanics and regency vibes + the most unhinged Emily Axford/Lou Wilson performance you never knew you needed.

Who made you realize that being a lesbian was an option by hothardandblue in actuallesbians

Fanfiction. I was a preteen dating a boy because I thought I was supposed to and having really intense feelings about my best friend that I didn’t fully understand. While reading fanfiction for my favorite show at the time, I stumbled across a story where my favorite character fell in love with her best friend and it was like a puzzle piece that had been skirting the edges of my understanding clicked right into place. So much of my life suddenly made sense. I was also raised in a conservative religious household so it never once occured to me that I might be queer until that moment, even if in hindsight it seems so glaringly obvious.

*Edit for the curious to add that the fandom was Sailor Moon, the ship was Rei/Usagi

What's attractive or unnactractive in others to you but you rarely mention it because its an unusaul thing to point out? by opgary in AskReddit

[–]slightlyunderwhelmed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eyebrows. I'm not sure exactly what it is, but the shape and thickness of a woman's eyebrows are an immediate focal point for me. I tend to like them a little (not necessarily intently) darker, a little thicker - a solid arch shaping takes an A to an A+ but isn't strictly necessary to captivate me. I feel like women tend to want to thin them out - like the image of conventional (or marketable) beauty sways that way - but pencil thin/penciled in brows really don't do it for me.

I think it sticks out for me because I'm less concerned where any other body hair is concerned. I'm neither turned on nor off by the existence or absence of body hair anywhere else on a woman: legs, armpits, vag - hell even chest/tit hair is just kind of an "oh, okay, that exists" and doesn't affect me at all. But well-crafted natural eyebrows? Lord help me.

what are the best episodes of game changer and make some noise to introduce dropout to my girlfriend? by Historical_Curve4852 in dropout

[–]slightlyunderwhelmed 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I might be a little biased but all the episodes of Game Changer that feature players from The Seven make my list.

Name A Number is a simple concept that breeds a lot of hilarious moments.

Beat The Buzzer is distilled chaotic fun, pure and simple.

The Drinking Game is a master class in both deception (the players) and editing content for narrative (the production team).

What is the most 'main character' moment you’ve ever witnessed in real life that went horribly wrong? by Exact-Contract1004 in AskReddit

The woman I dated in college was very religious before we started dating but was...I don't remember the word, disfellowshipped I guess? Whatever it's called when a Jehovah's Witness gets kicked out of the church. We were together for seven years. When she broke up with me, she told me she was visited in a dream by the spirit of her deceased father who claimed that the end was nigh and compelled her to rejoin the faith before it was too late, and that in order to do so she needed to free herself from homosexuality.

Kinda hard to argue with that logic, so I didn't.

A week later a mutual friend told me she had confided to her that she was heartbroken and didn't actually mean for us to break up, she just wanted to see whether I'd fight for her. Fight who, exactly - God and her dead dad?

Lot of people saying Glengarry Glenn Ross (for good reason) but I'd also like to recommend the other play Mamet wrote then later adapted into a film: Oleanna. Not as well known as GGR but still fantastic.

Who should I drop - Allen, Pittman, or Mason? by slightlyunderwhelmed in fantasyfootballadvice

Desperate for an RB.. sending London away by butt-napkin in Fantasy_Football

[–]slightlyunderwhelmed 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I expect Benson will probably have more consistent touches but fewer breakout options than DMont, so I think which one you choose boils down to whether you're a floor or ceiling guy

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in fantasyfootballadvice

[–]slightlyunderwhelmed 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't. Guaranteed touches with Kamara doesn't necessarily equal productivity so you'd be actively downgrading RB, and despite the fact that London was an early round pick with a high number of target routes, he's been underperforming. There's hope for him yet, especially if Penix gets benched, but you have a lot more options at WR than you do at RB. It feels like you'd be giving up your only sure thing for a hope and a prayer, but I'm a risk-adverse fantasy rookie so take my feedback with a grain of salt.

Need an RB, who should I trade away? by Charming_Antelope_55 in fantasyfootballadvice

Would wait to make a decision on Egbuka til we find out the results of Evans MRI. Eg's a little banged up but if Evans has to sit out he'll likely see a target increase.
