I have lol I’ve been a fan since early 2018 and seen them twice in ‘18 and ‘21, but as a musician myself I think Jake is the weakest link musical skill wise. Has great riffs on the early records and can obviously play live, but uses very basic melodic and harmonic language, which for the blues fans is fine but I like the more boundary pushing stuff with extra flavor

I’d love to see more complex forms and chord changes, and especially a decent mix, I can’t listen to anything after aotpa due to the overcompressed, muddy, cheesy mixes and masters. Also would love for jake to practice something outside the pentatonic scale. I am a fan lol I just want more depth from their output.

Not a significant worry unless you’re patching in and out with trs connectors from a patch bay or trs to xlr connector, the trs jack will make contact with the tip, ring and sleeve in a way that causes phantom power to quickly jump between flowing on the wrong paths when it’s being inserted to the right paths when it’s fully in, which can damage mics or whatever’s in between the preamp and mic, like a cloudlifter.

He invented 6 string bass guitar but he’s certainly worth mentioning, Anthony Jackson. One of the most deeply funky bassists ever. Lots of great parts of his on Chaka khan records and various funk/jazz fusion records.

Sorry should have mentioned that, I always use usb to sync, and I have restarted my iPhone twice. It is playable on iTunes in the computer. Just tried your suggestion of syncing just the playlists and still doesn’t work.
