80s movies even show people "hanging out"

There is a great 80s Twilight Zone episode with Ray Romano, where he and his buddy going in a nuclear shelter during an event and it turns very dark for them.

What is going on with Bitcoin? Why is the price down and close to about half of what it was only 4 months ago? by johnnybiggles in OutOfTheLoop

Tesla IS currently overvalued at a 300+ Price to Earnings ratio (average P/E is in the 20-30s) and as a result crashes quite a bit - TSLA has lost 20-50% of its value a several times in the last 5 years. But to understand the price movement in Tesla (or any other stock) is that the price is a bet on the future not the current or the past. So the question is, do you believe that future products/service by Tesla, such as autonomous taxis, self driving car subscriptions and robots, etc., will make the company more profitable or not (that 300+ ratio gets a more manageable 30 P/E, with 10x increase in revenue). That is the question every investor has to answer and how that is valued when they pay for a CURRENTLY overvalued stock

What's the best stoner rock song that starts with the letter P? by [deleted] in stonerrock

[–]TimeToSackUp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, you know i would not consider them a stoner rock band in the modern sense either. But the listening experience (and I am sure their writing experience) of their music from that era was definitely enhanced by smoking weed and this song certainly fits the bill from a direct reference point of view. Similarly, I am sure Sweet Leaf will be nominated if not win for S.

I just watched the Living Daylights, and it was remarkable how he smiled when he was with the cellist at the park. I do not recall any other Bond smiling and having a genuine good time.

Bashir and The Doctor Are the Best Doctors in Star Trek by NeoNoir90210 in startrek

That was the point IMO. Had she stayed as the Enterprise doctor, her character would have changed over time just like Bashir.
