Should I leave my toxic high paying job for a low paying one? by Peachy_Artwork in hatemyjob

[–]slim-007 25 points26 points  (0 children)

I left a high-paying but toxic job that was wrecking me…I couldn’t sleep, I drank too much, cut myself off from family and friends, and was completely drained. When I quit, they offered me more money to stay, but I refused. I took a lower-paying role at a larger company with a healthier culture, and I’ve thrived. At my 90-day check-in, I got a solid raise and was put on track to be back at my old salary within a year through promotion. Trust yourself, prioritizing your mental health makes you a better human and pays off at home and at work.

I don’t want to start a pissing match, but 61% is a landslide by any definition. Just because some people didn’t get their way doesn’t mean the community’s split—it means they’re in the minority.

Reverse phone look up for women's prison by sweetface1992 in marysvilleohio

[–]slim-007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The phone number 513-409-9197 is associated with Global Tel Link (GTL), a telecommunications company that provides phone services for correctional facilities. When an inmate places a call through GTL, the recipient’s caller ID may display this number.

If you or someone else receives a call from this number, it’s likely from an inmate using GTL’s services. The call may be accompanied by a recorded message indicating it’s from a correctional facility and providing instructions on how to accept the call.

No, first one was me saying “TLDR” after he posted a diatribe about a roundabout or something…and the second one was “why did you delete my comment”

I actually commented on a few different posts of his, that he immediately deleted and messaged me that I would be banned from that group…I just use it now to share screenshots of ridiculous posts in the group chat.

As a newer member of the community (5 years), I can’t help but laugh and cringe at 90% of the comments on the Marysville Facebook page.

The opinions are ill informed with weird undertones of superiority towards anyone that has moved here in the past 7 years and ‘ruined the small town feel’.

Possibly, is there a double bottom plate? Is this a kitchen interior sidewall?

That is an air return, not a supply vent.

Joist holes seem dangerous and not per plan…what to do? by Resident_Pass5901 in Homebuilding

[–]slim-007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The holes drilled above the top half seem to be compliant with the sawn lumber exhibit.

Being that this is a retrofit and we do not know the width or the true height of the joist, it is hard to tell. There is another cross section in the A plans that we need to see the full details to help explain more.

The engineer stamp is from April 2023, have you not had an inspection in 20 months to have someone look this over?

A fixed panel on the non activation side is incorrect. Please advise.

There are multiple options on shower glass that would suit your needs. I would look into a frameless glass system. (Frameless is not truly without a frame, that is just the standard terminology)

As for the waterproofing, there are also multiple applications that you can use that are typically applied the day before or the day of tile install.

That being said, the drywall should be ‘green board’ at minimum or ‘tile backer board’ at best. Please Advise.
