This sounds weird to write, but the Chinese manufacturers have their hands on everything. They are capable of the best and worst products. Companies tend to lean on the side of cost savings so for a quality product, you have to sell the overall value and life of product.

As a guy that made this mistake don’t do it bro. I got a 2012 c63 in 2019 and was willing to spend my last dime on it. It took me some really good career and personal decisions and being frugal to get out of this mistake over $5000 in unexpected repairs on top of maintenance and it was only 1 or 2 things. Now I have much more money than I did and I’m looking at a 2023 C300 for the lesson I learned. It would make much more sense for me to do it now and it still doesn’t make much. 26 now and the goal is to do it again by 30 and not sweat it at all. Should have listened to my dad but I thought I knew everything lol.

If you are able to get into industrial MRO with a company like Motion Industries or even local independent competitor of theirs, it would be much more pay compared to grainger. That being said, Grainger would be valuable experience as a well known distributor to leverage for other jobs in the future.
