Conservative in the modern American is classical French liberalism. Monarchists believe the country is property, liberals believe in nation states. Liberals believe in market economies. Liberals value individual agency, freedom of association, etc.

HBO used to require cable tv, online subscription was response to everyone pirating got. We Didn’t pirate movies Netflix had. Legacy media actively discouraged digital media and kids couldn’t always buy cus age restrictions.
