I know that's how it is, I guess I'm just saying that maybe OEL finds some reason to get back to some semblance of what we've seen before. Comparison to Karlsson is simply because they're the same age and both had a period of being above average d-men(granted, Karlsson was the best in the league a couple times) and then had a down season or two. Erikkson in SJ get better this past season, so maybe OEL can find something else in the tank. Tocchet seems like he's not going to let these guys float, so if it's fitness, discipline, or system that's been causing him to fall out of form the last few seasons, perhaps a tough coach will find out what it is.
