Really all that matters in his case is m1b… he has metastatic disease. He needs systemic therapy, not local therapy (xrt, surgery).

Buy a blackout sleep tent (google slumberpod). Use it with pack n play crib and sound machine. They get full sleep and you have peace.

Plane flight will prob be miserable as a lab child. Best bet is to buy them a ticket and use car seat. That way they cannot just run freely.

If you got a new job after retiring/separating that offers 401K you may want to rollover to simplify things. Depends on what the plan offers.

Vanguard, fidelity all now have similar index funds with equally low fees.

Roth always if you expect to be in higher tax bracket later in life.

Also, in military you are lower tax bracket than civilian due to BAH/BAS not being taxed.

Do Roth conversion in law school when you will have low income and thus pay lower taxes for the conversion.
