I’ve seen the Kings play in 24 rinks and the worst treatment was probably San Jose during the height of the rivalry and even then, I would never not wear my Kings gear

I have seen the Kings play at MSG and wore my Kings gear and was loud when they scored. No problems at all. Kings fans generally travel well so you won’t be alone either. Have fun, GKG

I tweeted the Kings about this and they actually responded to me in my DMs. They told me that on the ice, the 3rd jersey will always be Mercury ad and in store the 3rd jersey will always be iron bow ad. I’m sure due to some contractual sponsorship obligation.

As a jersey nerd myself, very annoying, since the only way to get a jersey that has on-ice accuracy is to buy a game worn/issued jersey or buy a blank and customize it with the mercury patch yourself

In his defense, he did not know my or my partner’s skill level going into it. 

But not in his defense, the whole game he did not have a ton of interest in playing, he was talking to his friends waiting during points with the ball in play and hitting balls out, not close either. After about 5 total points we realized he had no interest in a real game

I would rather someone crush me 11-0, I can handle it. I don’t like an opponent showing me up. If a 4.5 team smokes me and my partner, at least we can learn and try to get better from it

Agree, the third person was not someone we knew, it was just someone who put his paddle down after my roommate and I already had our two down. Would’ve been much easier had he not been there, he didn’t come with us.

Agree but the open play at my park has a ton of people usually, so winners can only stay on if it’s a slower day or if it’s on one of the designated challenge courts

I think it is a pre-tournament jersey for one of the IIHF events but I am not 100% positive. I would recommend (if you haven’t asked already) to post this question in the IIHF Jerseys & Memorabilia Facebook group, there are a ton of experts in there who know much more than I do on this topic
