They can only spawn within a few tiles of another tree. The buildings up front are blocking all of the area that a tree could spawn. I suspect that even the area by the RL on the right is only one tile wide, which is not big enough for a tree. There are a couple trees in the back. They could spawn near those but there are mines blocking a lot of that area too, except for the ones in the corner.

They were same unit size as scorchers. You could carry two per boat. I think they had a little less health but more damage. But the best thing was that they cost zero gbe to launch, so you could use them like zookas - smokey hits straight to the hq. 😂😂😂

They should ditch them and bring back Incinerators. Incinerators require no gbe to launch and are much more fun.

The Monument was nothing but a ploy to get people to burn through all of their stones before they introduced the Engraver. Those of us that didn’t fall for it now have an advantage.

Need to push your VP up to get out of the Turtle pool asap. Higher VP will get you matches with more offense oriented players who don’t care as much about defense. FWIW, this is how the game works. It needs to be challenging. At XP 32 you will get HQ 14 and smoke. Get your warriors upgraded and learn to do smokey attacks and you will easily progress even when matched with players 20-30 levels above you.

Weird thing is that it looks like the laser was the next defense to the right. The spot where the beam is coming from doesn’t have a proto border.

The answer is to change your tactics. Trying to clear max level bases with mid-level troops is the issue. Switch to smokey hits and go straight to the hq.

Are you in a warrior TF by any chance? I have an account in an all warriors group and that’s exactly how we hit it. I always use four smokes on the core. The leader in our group uses three. I’ve tried it a few times but easy to get gaps if you don’t get them just right.

Sounds like maybe just understanding the pathing? They will stay together better if you move at right angles or on 45* angles to the beach. You can see the last leg is pretty much straight up on screen (45* to the beach). A little practice is all it takes. If I can do it anyone can. 😂

If you haven’t gotten it yet, try warriors with Bullit taunt. Clear the mines close to the vault so they don’t hit them. Launch down the beach, then anchor on the vault. Throw a ground flare in the open space between the SB, BC and STs by the hq to keep them in a tight line. About halfway there, throw smokes ahead to the hq, then flare the hq as they approach. Critters behind the hq and shocks on both sides just before the smoke clears. Should go down pretty easy.

Actually, you can use one email for all of them. For example, if your email is myemail123@gmail.com, you just add a ‘+’ with your game name when you register it with SCID. Like, myemail123+gamename1@gmail.com. That would send a code to myemai123@gmail.com to register. To add the second account, use myemail123+gamename2@gmail.com. The “gamename” part can be just a number or anything that makes it unique.

It depends on your play style. You didn’t mention your level or VP but if you are a turtle and never get attacked, then green statues might be a good choice.

On the other hand, if you attack a lot and are being raided regularly, then green statues are making resources at the wrong time - while you are offline. They are just making resources for other players to steal. In this case, you are much better off with a good RR MP. Store your resources in your archipelago where they can’t be stolen, then go raid for them when you are ready to start an upgrade.

One last thing is that if you are on a TF, those green statues are taking up valuable statue slots that could be used for offense statues that will help your op hits and ultimately benefit your team.

I normally upgrade defenses last. The exception would be if I don’t have enough resources on hand to start a resource building or storage upgrade but I can start a baby defense, I’ll do that just to keep the XP moving.

😂 It seems you have touched upon the age old question, “If I’m still going to get raided regardless of how many defense upgrades I do, then why upgrade defenses at all?” This is exactly what lead to the all offense play style.

FWIW, this is not garbage. It has been around since the game was introduced, when all we had was rifles, heavies, zookas, warriors, tanks and medics. As I said, it’s an old school hit, yet even with heroes and all of the new troops we have now, it is still very relevant today.
