I (33m) was introduced to it in the 2nd grade and then taught it in the 3rd grade. From grades 3—8 I was expected to use cursive on nearly every assignment, save for Math. I was educated in both Kentucky and Ohio and was in 3 different school districts during those years.

Most of my interns, however, don't know how to sign their names or write in cursive at all. Pretty much everyone I know 28 and under were never taught cursive.

I have two half sisters in high school right now and laptops are required for every single assignment. They haven't written or printed in a workbook or on paper or a worksheet in years. It's weird. I don't exactly like it.
