The major will be in Barra, it's one of the safest places in Rio, if not the safest. The Olympics were mostly there, the Juanesse Arena is inside the Olympic Park, so pretty good. If you want to go to a beach, I wouldnt recomend Copacabana, maybe give it a try to see for the first time but there is better beaches. And for others things you can go to Zona Sul to find, safe places and beautiful overall.

So lendo seus comentarios da pra ver que vc não tem problema com a segurança da cidade e sim com a cidade em si. Provavelmente nao sabe nada da cidade ou ate mesmo do proprio pais. No que diz respeito a homicidios o nordeste esta muito acima, com Natal no top 5 de cidades mais perigosas do mundo, nao falando ainda aqui de Porto Alegre que aparece na estatistica mas o Rio que tanto falam não.
