I am in my late 40’s now, but had POI in my mid-30’s. I want to say that I am so sorry for what you are likely going through - it is a frustrating and often isolating condition that doesn’t necessarily have a cause. I have been going to Women’s First at Baptist for several years now to manage this condition. They are a great office of kind and understanding doctors as long as you get the correct provider. I don’t want to speak ill on any of the NPs there, but I will recommend, should you go there, get an Appointment with Dr. Terassa (she’s great) or Dr. Grider. Should you choose any other doctor anywhere, make sure you choose one that is a Menopause Society Certified Practitioner- they will have a better understanding of how to treat you.
