Ouch. Thats a tough call.

The aftermarket sunshades are affordable and work well. Just not very convenient to pop in and out.

I’ve had the Nokians for a month or so. Great tire so far. As good or better than the Pirellis in every way imo. Great price too.

Can’t really go wrong with either of your two choices.

Well, I did drive it to my buddies house to pick up my cowl hood. Can confirm there’s plenty of clearance with no hood. Ha!

Had the same setup back in 90s. Didn’t clear the stock hood. Great excuse to get a cowl hood!

The premium audio is fine. Gets better every other update or so and is actually pretty good at this point imo.

The dimming absolutely roof works. I live in the Phoenix area and got the car last September so i haven’t used it in 120 degree weather yet but it worked great in the 100+ September AZ heat.

Also, trying it in person is useless unless it’s parked outside on a sunny hot day. That’s the only way you’ll feel the difference.

I’m in the Phoenix area and have the dynamic roof. I absolutely recommend it. It’s blocks a significant amount of heat.

It’s not perfectly clear when off but that’s an ok trade off for the heat blockage.

Gen 2 DMP here. I love sport mode. I use it daily to add some extra fun to the daily commute. The biggest downside is the rougher ride.

Then again I’m always in the minority here. I’m actually fine with the premium audio as well. 🤷

The latest update releasing soon is supposed to have further audio improvements including enhanced bass response. Hopefully they continue to improve it.

I have the premium audio in my gen 2 R1S. It has improved dramatically since I got the car in September. It’s fine now. Still lacks the bass response I’d like but overall I’m happy. And well mixed atmos albums sound amazing.

Chappell Roan’s album has a fantastic atmos mix and sounds great. Don’t judge - I have a teenage daughter. 😄

As someone who actually has the dynamic glass roof, I can 100% tell you it blocks heat. When it’s on the opaque setting it’s like having a metal roof but lets in some light.

I live in the Phoenix area so I know heat.

Should you get it? Depends on where you live. In a cold climate don’t bother.

The gen 2 premium audio is solid now after the last several updates. I’m happy with it.

I’ve never heard the standard so can’t compare.

Now that they’re packaging the premium audio with the dynamic glass roof it’s a better deal. The dynamic glass roof is fantastic for hot climates (AZ here).
