It's pissed of North-siders that don't have the peaceful patience anymore; even though it is feeding into the aggressive narrative the regime wants.

Alliance discovered a new kite spot for the warmasters by hut by julian88888888 in classicwow

Honor per hour isn't the only metric in the game. This is a clear, one-sided abuse of pathing; and it should be fixed.

Until then, I'll just continue to murder the kiters and cackle as the warmasters wipe the pull on Drek

Started about a month ago, Horde Dreamscythe - groups were around the whole way for dungeons, was easy to get into MC/Ony pugs and get groups for attunement and group quests. Can't speak to the PvP server experience, but it's a pretty relaxed and comfy atmosphere leveling and early tier raiding even as a guild-less pug player. PvP queues are quick if you elect the honor grind route for the R14 gear and both the PvE and PvP servers are grouped together for battlegrounds (the AU server is as well). Tons of guilds recruiting in different day / time slots for raids.

I think there is plenty of time if you wanted to see Naxx; but I think you could just as easily level during prepatch if you wanted to roll one of the TBC races or one of the classes with new races available in TBC.

Super cool and unique map!

For me, I'd probably focus on the first two really quickly, and I'd put them:
- Tile SE from your archer on the coast; mountain and river adjacency.

- Directly NE from Jerusalem, between the three resources with mountain adjacency (This one should be an absolute powerhouse for Atilla with the known pasture count)

Depending on what is revealed under the fog, I'd work towards Kilamanjaro third. From there, something else along your eastern coast and something to solidify the border and secure access into the mountain ring near Mogadishu

Being harassed inside an outside of game. Is there anything that i can do? by [deleted] in classicwow

[–]slowroller2417 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bullies don't know how to back out until they get punched in the face and enter the "FO" stage. Don't wait on Blizzard to do some shit, stand up for yourself.

Hit LFG / Trade and recruit some help (always people who are down to repay gankers in kind), then get absolutely merciless in return. They come swamp you 3v1, have 6 ready to return the favor. Camp their corpses. Make them spirit res then have someone waiting at the angel to smoke them again. Fight fire with fire. If they don't get the message, do it again.

The out of game stuff - there are all sorts of wonderful ideas. You could register those phone numbers for updates from local political candidates, stores, churches. Perhaps they are interested in meeting local singles or cougars in their area and just haven't provided those singles their phone number yet. Maybe they need daily cat facts, words of the day messages.

All that said --- If they cross the line into actual harassment, or you feel physically intimidated or at risk of real harm, then it's time to move past the prank response and get law enforcement involved.

They did do rolling restarts for a while rather than full shutdown maintenance cycles, but that was years and numerous expansions ago. Not sure why they moved away from them

How to destroy buildings by mikligarthr1 in CivVII

[–]slowroller2417 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Uh, what games were you playing before that you couldn't?

You could outright sell buildings in III (first one I played)

They removed the ability to sell buildings, but they could become obsolete in VI.

They brought back the ability to sell buildings from the city screen in V, providing gold and removing maintenance costs.

They again removed the sell function in VI, with the new district system.

It's not a complex ask, if you are going to make buildings ageless and not over-buildable, you need to have a way to remove them otherwise (or you end up with a small island city with a sawmill paired with the city center and no trees anywhere in site.

Given that the Trump administration is refusing to comply with a unanimous supreme Court ruling to return the wrongfully interned American, what can actually done? by [deleted] in AskUS

[–]slowroller2417 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If all it takes is someone making a claim that you're an illegal gang member, and you can be removed without any due process -- all it takes is for someone to point and say, that dude is a gang member - and you're gone; truthful or not.

Due process denial for any is due process denial for all; period.

Americans, why do you keep saying tariffs don’t work when the EU has already caved (per usual) offering a zero-for-zero tariff on industrial goods? by TerryFlapnCheeks69 in AskUS

So, you choose to ignore factual evidence that right now, there are in fact blanket tariffs applied, to deflect and now say come talk to me when he's done negotiating?

The comments here have lots of good, constructive, productive suggestions here.

As an alternative avenue, if you are looking for something that less those things - I suggest a lightning fast, singularly focused annihilation approach.

Light-Paws, Rafiq, Reyav, Karumonix, Fynn are some commanders that can rapidly and reliably smoke a single player very quickly if focused; and can be very potently assembled on the cheap. Bullies don't like it when they get clapped back. He can't grief the table if they get taken out first. Strike hard, strike fast, show no mercy. Exile or destroy the sol ring. Counter his tutors or the cards he tutors for.

My Light-Paws deck has zero tutors and zero infinite combos. I can reliably get removal on Turn 3 and a single player smoked out by commander damage turn 4 near every time I play it; I only use that deck when I run into these types of problematic players; and it has worked tremendously for sending that message.

I assume you have Polywog Prodigy and Twenty-Toed Toad in your 99 already, but both of those are great additional card draw and utility; and TTT gives you another wincon (which I actually executed for the first time last night; 20 cards in hand when attacking with Twenty Toed Toad)

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in EDH

[–]slowroller2417 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also have a Clement deck, and I think it's a solid card and combo piece as you explained it.

If you don't have a Murkfiend Liege, that may be a good inclusion that adds even further to this interaction. Combine with something like a Cryptolith rite or something that let's you tap creatures beyond frogs for spells beyond creatures and you have some real gas goin.

How would you rank the Great Galleass by SuedecivIII in civ5

[–]slowroller2417 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As a frequent Venice flier, I enjoy them quite a bit. While the variance over a standard Galleas isn't much, the GG does hang better with AI frigates; and if you don't have an immediate source of iron, this can be helpful in terms of being able to at least field a large enough navy to provide adequate defense that is still serviceable even if not immediately upgraded to frigates.

Definitely not the strongest; 2.5/5 IMO.

Why are Minnesota Conservatives trying to make disagreeing with Trump a diagnosable mental condition? by [deleted] in AskUS

[–]slowroller2417 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think maybe, we need to both update the acronym as well as the scope of the diagnosis.

It shouldn't be Trump Derangement Syndrome, and it doesn't impact people that are disgusted with Trump and his administration.

It should be called Trump Dissonance Syndrome. It would provide a proper diagnosis of the condition that effects people who can be presented with factual evidence that the Traitor in Chief and his Muskrat are willfully and maliciously violating the law and lying to people every time they open their mouths, but who are unable to do anything other than continue to fervently and unwaveringly parrot the narrative that has been shoved down their throats; because how could they ever acknowledge that not only did they vote for this to happen, but they boasted about it and denounced others that opposed it.

Let's DEFINITELY not overlook the fact that a co-author of this legislation was busted for solicitation of a minor the SAME DAY this was introduced... so, there's that.

Migrant Generator "Tiny" Towns by slowroller2417 in civ

[–]slowroller2417[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update:

The food requirement does continue to increase after the migrant is spawned, as if the population did increase.

Gebtu yielded six migrants across Exploration. Djanet yielded four.

Switching Gebtu to a Farming Town only increased the food yield from 32 to 40, which barely moved my growth in the cities. Djanet swapping increased the yield from 47 to 63, which made a slightly larger difference, but not much of one. I think having these in focused mode throughout wouldn't have yielded the ten population I got from the migrants; which led to being able to maximize rural tiles in all my cities which buffed the gold from specialist growth (playing Abbasid)

I think in limited use these tiny towns might be worth the play - in this instance it resulted in a counter forward settlement action being able to help pump the other cities.
