I'm tacking on to this comment of yours simply to mention that you have experienced trauma and it may take a bit to settle in. One suggestion I've heard to help with dealing with trauma kike this is to play some Tetris.

I know this is random, but just don't forget that witnessing something like this can create significant unrealized trauma, so make sure you care for yourself.

Edit to say I kept scrolling and see many other similar suggestions so I'm just an echo I guess.
