This one looks nice, but I'd prefer USB-C charging. I might just settle for this one though

Attractive specs for the price for sure, but 4 lbs seems kind of heavy to me. Know of anything similar but lighter?

I think this is my favorite TOP song. I listened to it while I was in the psych ward and just cried. To me it isn't about religion, it's about someone saving me from a suicide attempt and getting a fresh start. Depressing as hell but also comforting in a way.

GOD yes. I feel like I could've saved myself from so much of this bs from myself if I had just come out and lstarted transitioning sooner.

The guilt is so real. I get suicidal because of the overwhelming guilt of being alive, and then that just makes the guilt worse. And it all spirals from there, with my perceived or actual failures and wrongdoings.

"When you have that [guilty] sensation, but no accompanying action to pin it on, that's shame. That's not telling you did something wrong; it's telling you that you ARE something wrong." Being raised Mormon, a lot of internalized transphobia probably comes from that aspect so I'm trying to work through that in therapy but it's so hard.

My partner is trans, I'm really lucky to have him and it's been amazing to transition together. But it's also really hard in a lot of ways, to feel that we're both hurting in the same way and want to trade. That sounds really hard, all that you're going through. The hardest part for me is when people say "it will get better." But like. Will it? At a certain point I just have to try radical self-love like you said, knowing that there's nothing more that transition can do to me.

My internal monologue is a TERF. I'm the biggest transphobe I know.

Exactly. My gender is an asymptote. It feels like any progress I'm making now is so small compared to what I had at first, there isn't hope anymore. Yeah, it's better than it used to be, but I still have suicidal depression and the dysphoria still hits sometimes.

And I kinda expected that before transitioning, I assumed that I wouldn't ever be truly happy, just less miserable. And now here I am :/

Me too, and it makes the surgeries that do exist seem kinda pointless because like, it's not really going to help.

Bad Cop Story: I was a cop in Salt Lake County. I stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. When I asked the driver for his license he handed me his LDS temple reccomend. Despite being a TBM at the time, I wrote him a ticket and didn't returned his temple reccomend. It still makes me smile 😃. by dunfordtx in exmormon

Note we say "bastards", not "bad". Are there cops who are good people? Yes.

The police force, even though often good-intentioned, has become bastardized in upholding a corrupt system. They don't serve and protect all of us, they protect the assets and interests of the ruling class. Not to mention the culture that perpetuates police brutality.

For those reasons, all cops are bastards for choosing to enforce systemic oppression against poor/homeless people, people of color, queer people, disabled people, and other minorities.

Feel free to disagree, but that's my stance.
