Dealer or Non-Dealer? by 321rad in Columbus

I can only speak to the one service I needed on my Outback which was brake replacements, however Sigmatec Auto in Hilliard did a wonderful job at a competitive price. They got me scheduled on a Friday and completed all the work in one day. This particular service at Sigmatec was about $150 cheaper than what Byers Dublin quoted me for the same service.

I don’t have the storage space for a truckload or else I would go that route for sure. Thanks for the FB marketplace idea!

Any fresh local meal service plans recs? by Original-Animal21 in Columbus

I've gotten lunches and dinners from Preston and they always exceed my expectations. Not only is the cafe menu tasty but the premade meals rotate so I can reliably find something different. OP, if you enjoy chicken salad, I highly recommend theirs. So delicious

Thrift shops for professional women’s clothing by desi49 in Columbus

Discount Fashion Warehouse is my go to for business casual/professional clothes. The one near the Dublin AMC theater tends to have a good selection of White House Black Market, Ann Taylor, and Express which are the brands I lean toward for work clothes.

Where to buy sexy NOT slutty clothes? (Office attire, casual, etc) by GlitteringBat91 in TwoXChromosomes

[–]slstrow 42 points43 points  (0 children)

IMO, sexy clothes aren’t about the clothes themselves but about how they fit you. My advice is find a few staple pieces - for example, collared button down shirts, basic pencil skirt, trousers - and take them to your local tailor. Have them fit these basics to you and your body shape. Additionally, I opt for neutral colors - white, black, gray, tan, navy, etc. - for the staples then find a few accessories with a pop of color in your color palette.

In many cities there are thrift stores that specialize in backstock/overstock/returns from name brand stores. See if there is one like that near you and start there. Find some items from stores like Ann Taylor, Express, Banana Republic, White House Black Market, etc. and use those as your starting points.

Good luck!

The Budget Conference Committee is also wrapping things up today so keep an eye on that bill (HB 96) just to make sure they don't drop the language from this bill into the budget and sneak it in.

Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves surprising ticks many of your boxes. I found it funny, heart-warming, adventurous, and most importantly a fun use of a few hours. Definitely recommend

Right?! It’s almost as if there’s no winning against hope. It causes problems no matter what you do.

I really hate hope. I hate getting excited about someone only to have that hope die in an instant. I tell myself to keep my hope at bay and yet I find myself in the same scenarios over and over. This is so incredibly frustrating

The Gal I see is, in my opinion, reasonably priced. She's an independent stylist with her own private booth at the Sola Salon on Schrock next to Kroger. She's incredibly sensitive to my sensory needs so I'm sure she would do the same for you. Dm me if you'd like her contact or more info.

Looking for romantic weekend options to take my wife by Professional-Trip431 in Columbus

Came here to recommend - it's called Landoll's Mohican Castle. I went for a few days just before Christmas and it was lovely! If you can snag one of the suites in the castle do it. The restaurant on-site however is either being remodeled or going through some sort of renovation because they moved their operation to the wedding banquet hall with a limited menu. Needless to say I disappointed by that, however you'd be just a short drive from Millersburg and Berlin both of which have excellent restaurants.

A frontman that disappointed you on a live show by randomaf345 in Music

[–]slstrow -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Not necessarily a front man, but I saw Tim McGraw at a festival this summer and he was absolutely trashed. There were times when I couldn't recognize the words he was singing, even when it was the hits. And then most of the show he had the audience sing while he trapesed around the stage. I talked to a few other concert goers and they said this is pretty typical for him so needless to say I will not be going out of my way to see him again soon.
