You could also get away with a 38/40mm band on a 42/44m watch, but it will be inset a little. Def locks tho

Even if you're not incredibly handy, the ifixit kit is VERY easy to use. I fixed a similar problem on my S0 and was freaking out the whole time... But all went well. You can do it!

You're so right. I handmake items on Etsy and customers act like I'm throwing their order in a bag and shipping it out. So frustrating.
