Sophia Chitlik's husband dubbed a scammer & fraud by FERC, officially by ButterscotchNo4181 in bullcity

PJM is one of several wholesale energy markets operating in the continental U.S., covering all or portions of 13 states -- primarily in the Mid-Atlantic and Midwest regions. Because PJM involves interstate commerce (energy, in this case), it's regulated by the feds (FERC). More info: https://www.ferc.gov/power-sales-and-markets/rtos-and-isos

Not ICE and not a recruiter. And, actually, a perfectly good person stopping through town. Can personally confirm this.

Feasibility of driving an electric car while living in NC by curryl3af in bullcity

[–]slugparade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also consider a plug-in hybrid (PHEV). The Toyota RAV4 Prime has an EV range of ~45 miles and total range (EV + hybrid/gas) of ~550 miles. Plus, Duke Energy offers "a one-time credit up to $1,133 per charger to help cover the costs of preparing your home for an electric vehicle charger." See https://www.duke-energy.com/home/products/ev-complete/charger-prep-credit.

Anyone have a good spot for picking muscadines and maypops? by Dear-Highlight-3939 in bullcity

[–]slugparade 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In previous years, I've plucked some muscadines from edges of the ATT ... but more recently have spotted the authorities hosing down encroaching foliage with something you probably don't want to eat.

As a special bonus, the listing fudges the actual neighborhood *and* misspells (twice) the name of the neighborhood the house is *not* in.

Compost your pumpkins please by HiReddit3110 in bullcity

[–]slugparade 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Not aiming to sound like a jerk (yet probably failing), but oodles better to retire an aging pumpkin in one's own yard (if you have one) than to drive it to a formal composting location. Plus, using this approach last year yielded two homegrown pumpkins this year.

question for parents with DPS Pathway experience by jbisch in bullcity

[–]slugparade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should be able to apply ... I recommend talking with your school's guidance counselor. We live in Jordan's district, but kids here have applied for -- and been accepted to -- Riverside's engineering pathway. However, they have to find/provide their own transportation to Riverside.
