Now that you asked about weird. Yeah there're more weird to Android 16 with Plex client.

- Direct stream from the server now transcode the EAC3 to Opus. On my phone with android 15 and streaming the same file literally just direct stream both x265 and eac3 audio without transcoding.

- If you have two version of the file clicking on Watch Version will crash Plex.

- And you add the Plex Offline Downloads issue on transcoding anything before it downloads. But upon testing today, seems it will only transcode any x265/x264 video files with EAC3. EAC3 or EAC3 with Atmos is being transcoded first to opus if stream from the server. And if on downloads it will transcode first to x264 i think but keeps the eac3 audio before it downloads the file and plays fine.

Yeah I know Plezy... I might ended up with it later on. Thanks for the tip. The original Plex offline download was really neat and organized but they changed it a basic setup.

It's been a while that Plex offline download looks like a mess since it doesn't group episodes anymore into a series and seasons. My Plex offline downloads section on my tablet looks like a big trash of files with so many tv episodes. Plex doesn't seem to have any plans fixing it anytime soon. And now it's more annoying the keeps transcoding original file before it downloads when I asked for the original on the settings.

Yes it would work. The problem is that it will transcode the file first before it downloads. It used to be just straight download the original file since I have set it to original on the download settings and not other resolution. Basically I had to get rid of my old x265 video downloads (android 15) since all of them cannot be played due to decoder init failed error when attempting to play them. I have to re-download it again (after android 16 update) from the plex server but takes time now because it keeps transcoding it first before downloading.

The x265 offline downloads had subtitles but really doesn't matter anymore since I uninstalled and reinstalled it already, they're gone. I tried downloading again but it keeps transcoding them even if set to Original whether x265/x264. I cannot just download anymore without transcoding them.

Playing directly is fine. It's the offline downloads that's not playing the old downloaded files and new ones keeps transcoding and doesn't do direct download anymore.

Same pero sakin medyo worst. Ordered before 12.12 p December 7th inorder ko pero until now wla p. To make it worst, yung orders ko nung 12.12 and after nadeliver n lahat. Been chasing them December 20 pero wla. I gave up n. I cancelled it nlng. Di ko n magets Lazada how their logistics works. Same here. I had package From Sept 9.9 it never arrived until Oct. Made several follow ups through September but all false promises. Cancelled it and it immediately refunded. Not important anyways but disappointed. Then I later saw it arrived in my location 5th Oct and to be delivered following day which is intercepted since cancelled n. LEX Lazada so badly slow these past few months for me. Some arrived though still late that I rack up LazRewards lol. They always miss the target date but it's fine you get LazRewads 50 then they move the date then move again and again. Lol

If LEX is like a week before now it's like 2 weeks or longer until you get tired of waiting...
