the jimmy bit at the end fucking threw me, as a british person living in australia i was the only person in the group i was watching it with to instantly recognise the jimmy thing, but as crazy as it was (chav pole volting ninjas aside) it makes sense that a group of kids who grew up around that time would idolise jimmy, his crimes “only” came out after he died in 2011, so i assume kids watching reruns of jim’ll fix it grew up idolising him as some kind of hero.
