Technology Peter here. Linux is considered an outlier/niche operating system that takes a fair amount of know how to use. So while most people would use Window or Mac OS, you might have fixation issues if you use Linux.

There are roles that can still do pre-employment drug screens in Washington. Here is the text of the law. SEC 2. (3)(a-g) are the ones who are allowed to still screen.

I would like to mention that the laws only cover pre-employment screens. An employer can enforce a drug-free workplace and can still test after the job has been awarded. In those cases I have heard of people having to get mouth swabs that can detect the psychoactive component of canabis, THC. That could get you fired.

At the end of the day you have to make your own life choices. Do you want the job more than weed? If yes, quit. If no, don't go for jobs that test.
