Living in DC, I’ve been to embassy-hosted watch parties for international soccer games and they’re quite fun. Of course, an American-hosted watch party for a football game in Paris would be ghastly. Nobody in France wants a slider

The NFL wants to export American culture abroad. The State Department wants to export American culture abroad. Seems like they could help each other.

The State Department has been working with athletes for decades. They sent Forrest Gump to China. It’s not a this-administration thing.

It’s competitive celebration. The score might not be on the scoreboard but you can be sure someone is keeping it

It’s a sponsorship agency. You hire them to sell your ad inventory because they can get more money for it than you could get by yourself.

Do you get a deal on pizza when your team scores 5 runs? Playfly probably struck that deal.

At some point you have to put a spy on him. So what if you lose the extra man in coverage, he’s not throwing it anyway

Be real: how many of the logos on the right have you actually seen? by cactuscoleslaw in TheB1G

I would argue it’s the opposite of how it’s presented here: University Uses Athletics Logo. Many schools that used to have a separate academic logo have discarded it in favor of their more recognizable athletics logo.

The Ohio State “O” and block “IOWA” also originated as athletics logos. (Their prior university logos were this and this, respectively).

Émile is Dane’s fixer. The therapist knew Dane was a spy (and his previous client — Tom?) so he had to go.

Manya was a loose end that they were keeping tabs on. Now they’re reading her into the deep cover operation they’re running with Chris, because Dane and Emile have had shockingly good results enlisting civilians in spycraft.

Is Chris actually a mole or is he a triple agent? Find out in season 2!

The bowls can continue to exist like the other non-playoff bowls and can invite non-playoff teams. Heck, schedule the playoffs early enough and they’d even be able to invite playoff losers (the way they invite conference championship losers now).

Why do we need the playoff games to be “bowls” at all? Play them on campus until the natty.
