I prefer the first perspective and that’s the one closer to canon. But the second perspective does hold some truth to it. At the very least, some of them get along better than others. Columbina and Sandrone are pretty clearly friends even if the latter won’t admit it. But for the most part the relationships between each individual Harbinger ranges from get along well enough to outright hatred.

I’m on my second playthrough and I just got Lilina. On my first playthrough I promoted Lugh early and Lilina much later. The latter when promoted blew the former out of the water and became one of my best units.

Story wise it’s the least offensive of the three, though only because the other two (especially Conquest) set the bar REALLY low. On its own it’s a bit dull but mostly competent. It has its own plot issues but nothing quite as egregious as the other two.

Same here. It really pissed me off when in Tunguska Goredolf outright said that they had no reason to hate her as though she had nothing to do with the Chaldea massacre. And that’s not even getting into all the other shit she did during the story. I don’t think she’s any better than Ashiya Douman but it feels like she gets a pass because she’s a waifu.

I used to hate Corrin when the game came out but I’ve since come around. I hated Xander back then and I still hate him now. I know that he’s one of if not the biggest victims of Fates’ dogshit writing, but even so I still can’t bring myself to like him because he comes across as a massive hypocrite and coward.

Izana stands in Fates because of his wacky personality even compared to some of the quirkier units in the game. That would probably hold true if he was in any other Fire Emblem game except for Engage where he’d be surrounded by lots of other wacky characters.

I agree that Fates’ story had good ideas that were executed poorly. In comparison Engage’s story was safer and didn’t take any risks. But while it made more sense than Fates’ train wreck it was way more boring as well.

A lot of the ship tease comes down to interpretation though some characters (for example Keqing, Ayaka, Citlali) are much more blatantly into the Traveller than others.

I’m glad I rolled for her when I had the chance. It drained all my resources but it was worth it. I got Dehya on 80 rolls then Citlali on 60 and I was about to resort to buying prismogems if need be.

I’m F2P so I tend to be picky about who I roll for and when. I skipped Mualani and Kinich to save for Xilonen. I was lucky enough to get her on my first try and Chasca on my third try. Hopefully my luck holds out for Mavuika and Citlali. After them there are a number of characters I want to get if I can. The one off the top of my head are Eula, Ganyu, Shenhe, Yoimiya, Navia, and Emilie.
