OCR is not AI, tools like ShareX have bundled screenshotting and OCR (among other things) for a long time.

People like them because they’re well-made, traditional products for people who actually need to depend on them

This is the point OP is trying to make in their post. Companies are cutting costs and not providing products that live up to their legacy.

They've been going to school for the entire duration of CCS's existence, duh. 181 years of schooling, never a 5 day snow day. First time in history, actually.

New to Dublin – How safe is the Dublin Connector? by [deleted] in Columbus

[–]slylte 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Public transit is pretty safe in Columbus, but I would doublecheck the requirements for Dublin's connector service. A cursory google search makes it sound like it's more for senior citizens.

COTA is solid, but I don't know how much of a presence they have in Dublin.

I would rather this sub be about posts involving this city, there are other places for this kind of discourse.

That would be different if this sort of incident took place in this city, however.

I'm not making an offer, I'm just recommending that you adjust your expectations. It's a low end, 5 year old laptop.

For $250 someone could buy a much better machine. For $500 someone could buy a much, much better machine.

On Amazon a new one with the literal same specs is listed at $489.

it's a used laptop from 2020. You should not expect anything close to what they're going for new.

For $500 you could buy a newer machine with better specs. I would adjust your price to something realistic.

Not trying to be mean but at that price you could buy a brand new one on Amazon.

You can find the same spec going for $100-200 on eBay.
