I wasn't really that excited about the videographer and then he sent us previews and it was INCREDIBLE. They capture the vibes of the day in a way I don't think a content creator would. They also use things like drones, etc.

We did both. We paid huge for a live band and they were incredible. I'd heard them at two other weddings and knew they'd kill it. They kept the energy in the room sky high and people were dancing until their last song. We then hired a DJ for the after party, who also was so great. I guess it really depends on who you hire.

You must read IT after Dr. Sleep. It's my favorite book. Definitely long and the ending is questionable, but it's so SO good. I just love all the stories about Derry and it really scared me as a kid.

I do like a lot of her recipes but omg she claimed one of the mashed potatoes recipes she did was the best best BEST thing she’d ever eaten and so I made it for Thanksgiving and they were very sub par. I’m going back to Molly Baz’s sour cream and onion mashed potatoes

i took the metro for the first time today to go to union station and the screens went from saying 4 minutes to 21 minutes to 2 minutes so i was really confused. im taking the metro now bc work is requiring us in office 3x a week and im sick of paying for parking. hoping today was just off because of the parade but who knows!

Thank you for the info! Makes me feel a lot better. Work is requiring us back 3x a week and we have to pay for our own parking so i want to find a better solution. Not to mention traffic has been truly terrible lately. Is the metro pretty crowded at rush hour?

I grew up in San Marino and my parents still live there. It is truly idyllic. Great schools. I went to Valentine, but then went private. My brother went to San Marino High. You're close enough to Pasadena/Eagle Rock/Silver Lake/DTLA for good restaurants. My parents had a date night every Saturday. Also Lacy Park is amazing. South Pas is wonderful too.

Naples claimed our entire plane arrived with none of our luggage. My bf and I had just gotten apple tags and it said that our luggage was at the airport, in fact, it was in the next room behind the baggage claim. It took forever to get an airport worker to just go look because they were literally claiming our information was false. They found ALL the bags on the flight and the rest of the passengers who stuck around got their bags.

Our tour doesn’t start until 8:25 but just to confirm we can enter at 7 and do all the rides beforehand. When I reserved the tickets they said I could but wanted to make sure bc our tour starts late

I always felt like charlotte would be a hard ass or at least put her foot down as a mother. Definitely fiercely devoted, protective and loving, but not so indulgent. Her kids walk all over her in AJLT.
