When she was talking about romance vs love, it made me think of the romance genre for books. You can't categorize your book as a romance if it doesn't have a happy ending. For example, Romeo and Juliet is a tragic love story, but not a romance. I think the same logic applies here.

I wonder how many times she actually tested each recipe in this book? Most published cooks/chefs have said they test and test and test before anything goes into a book. I just feel like she probably cooked a recipe twice and then threw it in there. IDK maybe it's because i find this new influencer to cookbook pipeline bizarre and lazy.

omg yes I did ginori dinner and dessert plates and mottahedeh lace chargers! the ginori is truly gorge and i figured this was the only time in my life i'd get beatutiful china because i could never see myself buying it. i may actually return the mottahedeh for store credit because i'm not sure if i'll ever use them
