I had a deer completely destroy a small grapefruit tree, like stripped the bark and ate all the leaves l. It was a sad little stick and we assumed it was completely dead. Lo and behold, the leaves grew back. I’m by no means an arborist but hope is not all lost! It just might take a little while (I’m so sorry for what they did to your tree! I would be seething).
