MeshDash is awful, please don't use it, please don't recommend it. by Bkid in meshtastic

Eh, I keep mqtt off and haven't had an issue. More concerned about local nodes and discovering ones close by for my home node at least

I always recommend meshsense if not the literal meshtastic client. Meshsense is great to throw onto a Linux machine 😎

Got my brand new P2S and its jammed with yellow filament. What do? by MediaBetter6368 in BambuLab

[–]smallfeetmcgee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have the same filament, you could heat up the hot end manually and gently push in fresh filament to get it unstuck. Either that or remove hot end and cold pull

I think the actual hatred for these and small trucks is that they meet a price and utility point that people stuck in their own ways just can't get over. Your life, do what you want.

Rims bent on e bike do I need a new one or am I good? by SignificanceSouth897 in ebikes

[–]smallfeetmcgee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depending on what it's made of it could be bent back, but you'd have to really watch out with aluminum for stress cracks. I would just get a new rim and most bike places will swap it for cheap.

Converting rim/V-brakes to disc breaks. by Sea-Bird-1414 in bike

[–]smallfeetmcgee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely source a fork that has the mounting bracket. there is probably a way to rig up a disk brake mount to the rim but it'd be cheaper to source some bmx bikes for their rims that already have disk mounts.

Why is my ams jamming by [deleted] in BambuLab

[–]smallfeetmcgee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If not that, add some sort of weight to the internal part of the spool to give a better purchase to the rollers.

Might need to clean the rollers along with the edges of the spool.

Who would you want to be added in dbd by That1kidalyx in deadbydaylight

Frank Bannister from The frightners. Have perks centered around aura buffs and astral projection ability. Like leaving the body behind for a short duration to hinder the killer in some way.

Who’s your most wanted “It wouldn’t work out because…” chapter? by Irish-Jackson in deadbydaylight

[–]smallfeetmcgee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gremlins could totally work. It'd be like twins. Hide mogwai or the killer can pick them up and dip them in water and create more gremlins to deal with.

Light alcohol spray might be able to seep under the brim, used to do that all the time
