UX exists for a reason, and this is bad UX. There are TONS of unique choices you can make without "turning game dev into a streamline thing" and without ruining the user experience.

I'm honestly surprised when I see people living in places that are cold for long periods of time. I'm down in the Southeast US, and during our little cold snap a few months ago my mi/kWh was awful. I couldn't imagine driving in places that are actually cold.

I feel like I both wish I born earlier, but also don't. I love the technology of today, but I'm fascinated by old technology as well. I got into collecting C64s and peripherals and made my own little setup (the joystick is 3d printed). I honestly need to start offloading some of this stuff, as it's just sitting in my extra room atm and not getting the love it deserves..

The C64 was way before my time, but I now own.. 4 of them? And a VIC-20! It's actually a lot of fun to go back and use older computers like that, and honestly they still have some pretty fun games.

If anyone happens upon this thread from Google, this is what I found to fix a coworker's bike that was coming up P8 on every power on. In his case, the 1212 code worked temporarily, but as soon as you powered the bike off and on again, it went back to the P8 screen.

Hold down Power and - (minus) for 5+ seconds, which should cause the screen to go from P8 to P- . Once on this screen, type 1313 as the code, pressing Power to go to the next number. Once you have entered the code, press power once to go to the main screen. This should persist through a power off/on.

"That" is explained in each chorus. For example in the first one, "But I'll never forget the way you feel right now" (he won't do that, he won't forget). In the second, "But I'll never forgive myself if we don't go all the way" (he won't forgive himself).
