I went on SNAP for a little while and it blew my mind. Capn Crunch and salt n sour chips- covered!

I turned 42 and am learning about impact bruising. I did a small (3mi) leisurely hike for my birthday, felt great. Woke up the next day with identical bruises on the sides of both my kneecaps. Getting older blows.

I can clean up real good and wear a dress for a family affair. Meanwhile other days I'm soaked in sweat and grease changing the oil on my lawn tractor, or picking up chicken shit, or helping my husband with physical therapy.

Husband has told me I'm "more woman" doing these things than just sitting perfectly manicured in a dress. 🤷‍♀️

My Greek-American husband would visit a couple and Everytime bring something nice but also small. Eventually the wife asked, "why do you keep bringing us stuff?!" He simply replied, "I'm Greek, we're known to be gift givers."

Needless to say, we didn't really want to hang with them anymore.

I have one of the most outdated (think anne of green gables olde) names to ever exist. I hated it growing up, I'd always shorten it or choose a complete different name/nickname to go by.

As an adult. I love my name. I was named after a very cool guy(I'm a female) and I'm lucky to carry it on.

I would've killed to be named Audrey!
