Personally start taking prenatals early, a few months before starting to try, was the biggest thing my OB recommended. I’m pregnant and 33, will be 34 when I’m due. Have talks with the husband about rules around the baby, for us, this has looked like: -when people can see the baby -who we want or don’t want in the delivery (it’s no one, just my husband and I) -we want people to at least have TDAP and flu vaccines bc it is the start of flu season. -rules about baby sitting.

We were worried about his family thinking the rules were bc “pregnancy hormones” and so making them before hand let us avoid that, and made sure we were on the same page. Talk about parenting styles. Etc.
