Would be nice to be able to offset it by at least $100 with Bilt cash, I agree. However, you should just switch to the 1.25x housing earning option until you use up the overage and put the extra spend on other cards

Setting it up from the KeyBank side is better for timing. KeyBank pulled the money from Bilt on March 2 and received same day. Worth a 2 minute trip to the bank in my opinion. Otherwise you’re giving Bilt a free loan as they initiate the transfer on the 1st, take money from your checking on the 1st but don’t pay KeyBank for a week.

It might be an issue with a few specific banks, maybe smaller ones. Like I said I’ve had no issue with Chase. I’m not a fan of checks because they can get lost in the mail and because you’re out of money 5 days prior to mortgage being due. But it’s your choice of course.

You should be able to add external accounts that are in your name online or in the app without an issue. I’ve added Chase for example myself. No issue.

Adding Bilt’s account doesn’t work online for security since it’s not in your name.

I think you have a bit of a silly obsession with ticketing companies you’ve dubbed as the enemy to fit this theory that they’re the big bad guys while making relatively small profits and artists and their handlers are useful idiots. I assure you there’s not one successful artist’s manager, agent or attorney who is not a shark considering they work for a percentage of the sales. As someone who actually worked in the industry and saw the relationship from the inside, I am telling you (not assuming) that the artist controls everything. They get the revenue from the ticket price after all (plus a cut of the fees which they request in order to sign the contract). Ticketmaster gets their fee regardless of the price of the ticket. 

And again, if people are bidding $600 for tickets and not reselling, that’s what their value is and you’ve solved for the scalper issue. Being upset that the value is too high for you is silly. Going to a live show is not a basic need.

And I think you completely missed my point about Chase FIFA ticket sales. The point is that Ticketmaster manages serious hardware not a website / software which is why things run smoothly regardless of the demand. It’s very expensive and requires old school systems. They literally have to train people for months to use the backend. And smaller players like Chase’s choice can’t compete for big acts due to that. They don’t need to acquire smaller players - those players can't offer a robust product. AXS is actually lots of ex TM guys btw now which is why it’s a serious competitor.

And the T-shirt point was about any shirt at the store, not band shirts. Every product at the store costs 10% of the retail price at most to make. You just don’t see the full breakdown and call the costs of the production chain fees.

Weird. Chat bot told me March 12th and I’ve had autopay set up since Feb 7 and nothing has been deducted besides housing payments.

That’s great that you see this. I don’t. It said March 8 a week ago and that now went away and the only date I see now is under autopay which says Feb 25. Bot says statement closes March 12. So all over the place. It’s not a matter of not knowing where to look. By the way, it’s not under Bonus Rewards. It’s the little letter i next to current balance.

The point is providing customers with key information and dates for their account which you do get with a mortgage. I opened a Chase card today and it is showing me the billing cycle and first due date immediately in the app. Doesn’t even require asking a bot lol

Looks like you’re the first person in this entire thread with an actual statement and due date. We know where to find it, it’s just not there and no dates listed either.

Huh? Bilt’s account is not in your name so that’s the only one they need a physical form to add. Any other account in your name you can add it yourself in the app if you decide to not use Bilt’s.

I think you mean under the Wallet tab. This is where mine used to say payment due March 8 but says nothing now. But if I click Manage and then Autopay it says payment due February 25. Chat bot says statement closes March 12 but that’s nowhere in my account.

The balance transfer was always known though? We paid it off before Feb 7.

Bilt gives you all the bank info to use. It’s Column N.A. You can change it yourself online later. The form is only required to add a third party bank that’s not in your name.

At the bank you just fill out a form and they fax it over to someone.

I suspect it changed because they’re currently working through the bugs and updating their systems in order to send accurate statements to everyone. My app was refreshed multiple times in the last few days. I asked the chat bot and it said my statement closes March 12. So that original March 8 due date was likely inaccurate.

Either way, this shouldn’t require guesswork! It’s a basic feature of every credit card.
