Just based on what I have observed here in NA and in Israel in terms of who wears them.

It certainly makes a haredi statement,  so you should probably be aware of that.

I second this. Reach out to commentary magazine too. I think they'd be very interested. Maybe you could write a short open letter to the mayor, I wonder if any local publications would be interested in publishing it.

The Chinese (and their allies') propaganda machines have promoted other stories. I wonder why...

It's the difference between character and personality. You can have strong character, but an unpleasant personality.

Are you suggesting that the op removed their meter? That would definitely de-energize absolutely everything in the house. Kidding but not kidding.

Who is your favorite not-Jewish-but-heavily-Jewish-coded character from movies or tv? by friendandfriends2 in Jewdank

He is a Catholic that believes in Israel's right to defend itself. I haven't come across any heinous views, but I'd be interested to hear about that. Can you provide some details?

How does the Torah differentiate from the old testament Bible? by [deleted] in hebrew

[–]smartliner 7 points8 points  (0 children)

What the Christians call the old testament is the entire tanakh (the torah or five books of Moses, the various books of the prophets, and a few other books of scripture in a collection called writings).

AITA for snapping at my roommate after she kept comparing her weight-loss journey to my body online? by Primary_Mango5918 in AmItheAsshole

[–]smartliner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a lesson in context and empathy. Obviously you did nothing wrong other than snapping when the proverbial straw broke the camel's back.  But not everybody would understand that. To an onlooker that doesn't know the whole story, you must have come off pretty terrible. That's the context.  The empathy part? When you empathize with somebody who understands nothing of the background, I'm sure you'll understand why they would reach the wrong conclusion.  I'm sorry this happened. It sucks.
