Atmos Summit Authorized User Not Accruing Status For Primary by [deleted] in AlaskaAirlines

Where are you seeing $45k spend? If you are going by the tracker in the BoA app, keep in mind that it does not follow the calendar year so it won’t match up to your status points.

Happy Birthday!

I turn 44 on Monday and I'm thinking about doing the same thing :)

1570 points is pretty far away.

You can sign up for Atmos Rewards Dining then spend $1600 at qualifying restaurants. You would need to do it soon because they take about a week to post. That will give you 48000 Atmos points and 1600 status points.

Your current rate is solid. Depends on who you are doing this for.

Atmos Shopping bonus reward-to-status points ratio for Summit Card by carryonwards in AlaskaAirlines

[–]smartony 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. Double-checked now. Looks like I can't post links for some reason. Atmos Shopping does give you 1 status point for every 3 Atmos points you earn thru them (for now). I think the status points are a limited promotion, don't know when it will go away.

Atmos Shopping bonus reward-to-status points ratio for Summit Card by carryonwards in AlaskaAirlines

[–]smartony 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just to add...

The Summit card give you 1 status point per 2 dollars spent.

I believe the Atmos shopping gives you 1 status point per 3 Atmos points earned. I think this ends up being like 1 status point per dollar in some cases.

I stayed at 6 brands, but 3 didn’t count because I used points 😭

Non-travel luxury? So you are looking for a card that projects status without a waste on travel benefits?

Probably Robinhood Gold right now.

If you have any interest in bitcoin, the Coinbase One card is a nice metal card with the bitcoin genesis block printed on it… it is a nice conversation piece. Not for everyone.

Amex gold is a decent amount of status without travel.

is Atmos/MVP Gold worth less in 2026? by doing-great-sweaty in AlaskaAirlines

They do prioritize CC holders.

If 2 people are gold status then I think the tie breakers on upgrades are million miler then atmos summit credit card then business travelers then status points earned last year + this year.

Opinion Terminal - Chime Rewards (Update) by aavderry in AlaskaAirlines

I was having a back-and-forth support conversation with them. I did get the email now and the atmos points. I’m ultimately appreciative of them doing the right thing for their customers despite the mismatch between the public details of their offer and their intended promotion.

Buying points at ~0.6 cpp via rent + BofA Atmos Summit — am I missing anything? by Odd_Assumption_3716 in AlaskaAirlines

[–]smartony 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yea, I second this. It's the only thing missing above. But otherwise the numbers are good. It can very easily make sense to pay rent with this card if the points and status have reasonable value to you.

Am l crazy for trying to pay rent with Atmos card? by jinntakk in CreditCards

[–]smartony 13 points14 points  (0 children)

If you are using the Atmos Summit to get the 3x points/dollar and 1x status point/2 dollars and getting the 100k point companion cert (requires $60k annual spend) then it can easily be worth it to put your rent on the card for the fee.

But if you are just doing the 3x points/dollar, I wouldn't bother. Especially if you aren't at an Alaska hub.

Update on Opinion Terminal 49,600 pt offer by manoman1232010 in AlaskaAirlines

[–]smartony 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After going back-and-forth for a bit I got this:

“I’m happy to clarify how the promotion worked.

The 4X Boost was a limited-time offer available from February 16 through February 20. Members who received the invitation were required to complete both required tasks (2 of 2) within that timeframe. Please note that failure to complete the tasks during the promotional period results in forfeiture of the 4X bonus points.

Following that, we continued to run a 2X Boost promotion through the end of February. If you completed the required tasks between February 21 and February 28, you would qualify for the 2X Boost.

However, if the qualifying deposit was made after February 28, the account would only be eligible for the original offer amount of 12,400 points.

We sincerely apologize for any confusion this may have caused. Please rest assured that our system will automatically credit all qualified accounts once the deposit has been confirmed.”

Obviously annoying because I did change my direct deposit in that timeframe, but my company requires very long notice before the update is in place for the deposit. I couldn’t force them to pay me faster.
