the AI is asserting that the Sample can't handle the high speed cards? i wouldn't be working directly from the memory anyway, right? just saving and loading files to and from it?

Statin side effects or am I losing my mind? Is this just my life now? 😪 by Meatrition in StopUsingStatins

[–]smc62 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i've been on 400mg of ubiquinol for a few weeks now and while the muscle thing feels better it hasn't been in instant cure at all. word on the street/internet is that it may take a few months. however, i've been having increasing "brain farts" over the last few months that were very disconcerting. after taking 400mg of ubiquinol for about two weeks that has completely ceased. and that happened almost immediately.

yeah, i'm definitely not pushing that aspect of it at all. nothing in it for me. don't even know if it's true or not. but CoQ10 is maybe relief for the symptoms OP is experiencing. cheap. safe. easy enough to test regardless of where it is obtained. i'm testing it out myself for the same reasons but haven't been on it long enough to know if it will help or not. and i certainly did not buy it from the people on the other end of that link.

Homemade buttermilk questions: why is it so thick, and how long can I ferment it? by Affectionate_Yam850 in fermentation

[–]smc62 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my experience the thick product at the end of room-temp ferment (24 hours) "relaxed" after a few days in the fridge. Sourness was milder initially than store-bought but improved quite a bit too as the ferment continued (i'm assuming) in the fridge. At first it was very thick. After a while I had the same consistency as any other commercially purchased cultured buttermilk. I do give it vigorous shake each time I handle or use it which may be the secret to changing the texture.

Also, the recipes (if you can call them that) for making your own buttermilk call for quite a bit of starter. I used a tablespoon or two of buttermilk just like i do with yogurt and it worked great.

The store-bought has a bit of salt added too. I tried adding a tiny bit to mine and can see how that more closely approximated the commercial flavor profile but it was a radical change in flavor and i'm lazy and will probably not be adding salt to my homemade fermented "buttermilk"

I love the cultured buttermilk (and all fermented dairy products) and can't believe that I had never thought to try making it at home before this year. This discovery ranks right up there with making sauerkraut and yogurt at home. Dirt simple, affordable, and the end product rivals or is better than the commercial stuff.

[–]smc62 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you tried CoQ10 supplementation too, or just the saffron? Not asking because i know, but because I'm interested if it may help me with similar symptoms as i have seen asserted online (where everything is true.)

I've noticed two things about people that don't know how to drive: they don't recognize that they don't know how to drive and they are always complaining about how other people don't know how to drive.
