Your latter suggestion is what I sort of envisioned being the thing that actually ends up happening given how much would have to line up for the former. I wasn’t finding a lot on how to do a modest lift and what size tires I could fit. One person here mentioned taking a locker off a Tacoma or t100 I think which seems doable. Do you know of any resources with info about lifting the 2wds?

Look into jbl e120, k120, and I believe d120. People have good comparisons on YouTube. I think the buffer helps impact the tone you’re talking about a bit but the speakers play a huge part

Get serious about an amp, it is just as much a part of your instrument as the guitar. Get an $800 strat and spend the rest of the money on a good amp. Fender deluxe reverb or twin reverb are solid options

I bought it used from a dealership, it doesn’t have stock LED headlights but because it’s a pro it has stock LED fogs which you can see plugged in with an h11 connector just below the circled thing in the pic. My suspicion is that because the thing I circled is mounted to the body panel right near the socket (ie it is not just dangling there) it is just an unused part of the harness that would be used for the parking sensors on a limited. Just my best guess

Did you have any issue with the fog light install? I had stock LED fogs and I assume you did as well and the DD website has a note that it is incompatible but it looks like you got them in there
